Started the Plumbing Apprenticeship program to obtain my Journeyman License. Continuing with my hands on training, I have practice in Mechanical, HVAC, Fire Systems and Plumbing. New Construction and Service. Obtained Backflow Tester License then instituted the Backflow Service Agreement (BSA) program. BSA established return clientele that annually scheduled for inspection and maintenance.

Operate, maintain, and improve systems for building HVAC, snow melt, laundry, and water features. Acquired hands on training in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems. My time here provided me with the insight of what common problems occur with aging equipment and how to prevent/remedy these issues.

Responsibilities included performing site visits for industrial/commercial facilities to identify and assess energy efficiency opportunities. Performed data logging and extracted historical trend data for process equipment. Executed detailed energy and peak demand analysis based on operational data and utility bills. Generated multiple savings and incentive analysis reports for energy efficiency projects for utilities to promote program influence.

     January 2014 to May 2015

 

Site visits to industrial manufacturing facilities with the prime objective of reducing energy consumption and waste. We use engineering principles and economic analysis to propose and estimate associated savings, implementation cost, and simple paybacks that all end up in a report. The final report goes to the company with recommendations and resources to improve current operations.

For spring break I traveled with a team of students from the University of Idaho to Louisville, KY to help build a house for Fuller Center. It was rewarding to help build a home for a family who didn't have one.

Participated and promoted the Polar Bear Challenge of Boise to raise funds for children with terminal cancer. Participants raise money and on January 1st run into Lucky Peak.

Many different environmental projects that promote environmental awareness and sustainability. Most of the work is manual labor. Served as a site coordinator. Duties involved contacting over 70 volunteers via email. Organized transportation to the site. Promoted a positive and fun work environment for volunteers.
